‘In the teaching spaces we inhabit’

This workshop examines notions of shared experience and embodied learning, and asks how both conscious and unconscious connections might lead to a deeper and agentive sense of learning. We use performative methods of reflection which for us prioritise alternative ways of creating, engaging and fostering active learning in opposition to the promotion of fearful compliance. This research leans towards offering a more constructive and ethical response to contemporary pedagogical challenges in ITE.
