Sew Near Sew Far is an arts-based initiative with the Haworth Parsonage Museum and local community groups.
The session is a visual one and explores a recent arts-based research project – highlighting some of the unplanned outcomes that emerge when haptic and serendipitous methods are employed. The talk also elucidates some of the ethical conundrums in socially engaged art practice today.
